Analysis program for Mössbauer spectroscopy.

Installation instructions:


Version 1.0.0.54 and newer:

  1. If you have a previous version installed, make a backup of the mineralfile, if you have added minerals to the program. The name of the mineral file can be found under settings.
  2. Download and run the installer.

Pre 1.0.0.54:

  1. Download the zip file containing the program.
  2. Create a program folder i.e. "C:\Program Files\Fit".
  3. If you have a previous version installed, make a backup of the mineralfile, if you have added minerals to the program. The name of the mineral file can be found under settings.
  4. Unzip the zip file into to the program folder created.
  5. Start the program from the created folder.
  6. Enjoy!
NB:
For version 1.0.0.48 and 1.0.0.51:
If you have trouble overwriting an older version of the fit.exe file, check if the the process fit.exe is running using the task manager. If so terminate the process, and try to overwrite the file again. If this for some reason should fail, reboot your computer.
